Moose Jaw RCIP 2026: Requirements & Pass/Fail Intake Rules
Moose Jaw judges applications pass/fail against the federal requirements. There is no scoring grid and no way to 'outscore' anyone. Up to twelve recommendations go out per monthly intake week, the queue opens at 8:00 a.m. on day one, and an application with a single missing document goes back to the employer and loses its place in line. Here, a perfect file submitted early beats a brilliant profile submitted at noon. Two occupations are already out for 2026: cooks and retail supervisors have used up their quota.
First come, first served
How Moose Jaw selects candidates
One intake week a month, opening 8:00 AM on the Monday and closing 4:00 PM on the Friday (Central time), with up to 12 recommendations per intake.
Moose Jaw is pass/fail: meet every federal requirement, submit a flawless file the moment the intake opens, and you compete on speed — not points.
- Applications are assessed pass/fail, with no scoring grid
- Up to 12 recommendations per intake period, first come first served
- Applications with errors or missing documents lose their place in line and go back to the employer
- Cooks (63200) and retail supervisors (62010) have reached their 2026 maximum, so no more applications for those jobs this year
- Employers now need a Saskatchewan Certificate of Registration, and candidates on visitor status (or maintained visitor status) are not eligible
