Brandon RCIP 2026: Requirements, Wage Rules & Healthcare Reserve

Brandon processes RCIP applications in order of arrival, but with two twists that matter. Fifteen percent of its annual allocation is held for healthcare occupations, so nurses and care aides face a friendlier queue. And every job offer must meet the Canada Job Bank median wage for the occupation — a wage floor several other communities don't impose. The community boundary runs 25 km around the city, taking in Brandon Hills, Chater, Cornwallis and Riverdale.

  • Community boundary is a 25 km radius around the City of Brandon
