Thunder Bay RCIP Points Calculator 2026

Thunder Bay is the most transparent RCIP community. It publishes its numbers, and they are sobering. The minimum score is 50, but by August 2026 it had recommended 338 candidates with an average score of 89.34 and a high of 116. Health job offers earn the top sector points (15), several occupations carry per-employer limits, and retail salespersons hit their 24-recommendation cap for 2026 back in June. One 2026 rule catches people off guard: you need a work permit with at least four months of validity when you submit, and maintained status does not count. The 2026 portal closed on October 15, so the next chance is the 2027 program.
